<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /> 2011年8月23日，佛山市盛丰陶瓷有限公司（三水分公司）综合大楼发生火灾，造成16人死亡，1人重伤。此事引起中共中央政治局委员、省委书记汪洋，省委副书记、省长黄华华高度重视，作出重要指示：1、迅速查实人员伤亡情况；2、全力救治受伤人员；3、做好善后工作并立即对全省相关安全情况进行排查，消除隐患，确保不发生类似情况。

2011年8月26日，我院于2号会议室召开内保会议。我院院部办公室主任陆泉枝首先介绍了“8.23佛山特大火灾事故”情况，要求各团、各部门负责人以此事件引起重视。陈列东副院长要求各负责人定期检查车间、仓库、宿舍用电安全，定期进行院内、演出场地消防器材维护及更新，增强各部门职工防火意识，防患于未然。
