《折子戏专场晚会》是青年团强势品牌节目，其中的折子戏选段皆摘自各大名剧，经过精心筛选，结合每个演员自身优势，将生旦净丑各个行当的精髓表现得淋漓尽致。晚会节目动静结合，既有经典唱段，亦有精彩的武打场面。当晚的演出精彩连连、近乎完美，台下掌声起伏不断，而最大的亮点是：青年团当家花旦曾小敏在当晚《放裴》的演出中，连续完成喷火动作十次，尽显功架；青年团当家小生彭庆华再次饰演“罗成”，单脚独立、唱足二十分钟，扎实的基本功再次征服了戏迷。
中场休息时，红线女老师细心地指导演员们化妆。广东省文化厅厅长方健宏鼓励青年演员们继续努力，让粤剧这朵奇葩在祖国艺术百花园里绽放得更加灿烂。
